Vacant Reina De Reinas Championship 7-way Tlc Match: Ayako Hamada Vs. Lady Shani Vs. Taya Valkyrie Vs. Tessa Blanchard Vs. Faby Apache Vs. Chik Tormenta Vs. La Hiedra

The two Impact stars trade suplexes in the ring while everyone else brawls around on the outside, blasting each other with chairs and trash cans. Taya does a big dive off the top rope, taking everybody down before throwing a ladder into the ring. Chik Tormenta tried to go after her but got superkicked. Taya got a staple gun and took a glamour shot of herself and stapled it to her face! She turned around right into a chair shot to the head from Hamada, who took the staple gun and started firing multiple rounds into Valkyrie’s head.

This is already absolute insanity. Lady Shani goes wild with a baking sheet. She tries for a headscissors but it goes horribly and Tormenta just kind of falls over. Tormenta scoops her up and delivers a Death Valley Driver through a table in the corner. Taya returned just to get superkicked by Tessa. Faby Apache caught Tessa from behind and nearly killed her with a jumping piledriver.

In all of the action around the ring, at one point Lady Shani went for a Tornado DDT on Hiedra, but again messed it up and had to land on her feet, grab a whole handful of trunks and it ended up being more of a sloppy Impaler, which I guess is still effective. Hamada did a Swanton off the top to the outside, which was supposed to be through a table, but the table didn’t break. Chik and Taya were fighting on the top rope with a ladder set up on the barricade, but Chik took a nasty fall to the ground and landed on her neck. Medics immediately ran out with a stretcher and took her to the back as quickly as possible.

Taya tried to climb the ladder and win but Tessa caught her and gouged her in the eyes. She reached up, took down the title, and we have a new champion!

Winner & New Champion: Tessa Blanchard

The oVe clan are discussing Jake’s win from last week. Jake tells his family that there will be hell to pay if any one of his brothers were to challenge him for the title. Sami Callihan takes over and says no one cares and that there’s a bigger issue, and that’s Tessa Blanchard. He then releases Madman Fulton, who will be competing against Blanchard tonight, from behind the gate.

Madman Fulton (w/Sami Callihan) vs. Tessa Blanchard

Fulton takes control in the beginning of the match. Blanchard goes for the magnum right away, and she is caught. Fulton chokeslams Blanchard to the mat. Outside of the ring, Blanchard is trying to get a breath after a brutal chokeslam and Callihan is taunting her. Up on the apron now, Fulton lifts Blanchard up and throws her back into the ring. Callihan goes up to a camera and says “that’s what happens when you get into the ring with a monster.” Don Callis from the commentary booth tells him to shut up. Back in the ring, Blanchard slaps Fulton in the face. He picks her up and puts her in a bear hug. She is not giving up, instead, she is trying to break the hold by throwing a few hits to the back of his head. She pulls out some of his dreadlocks, which shocks him greatly. Next, Blanchard pulls off a DDT and then a few forearms to the face. Callihan grabs a chair and tells Fulton to kill her. Tommy Dreamer runs down the ramp to help Blanchard and Fulton puts him in the chokeslam position. Blanchard helps Dreamer get out of it by hitting Fulton with a kendo stick. Callihan pulls Fulton out of the ring and they leave the match.

Winner by technical count out: Tessa Blanchard

They move on to the subject of Sami Callihan vs. Tessa Blanchard. Tommy says this is just the beginning of their story. Tessa is young with a chip on her shoulder, but Sami does also for the wrong reasons. After their match, Callihan calls Tessa a “tough, professional wrestler”. He wasn’t expecting her to last more than a few minutes, but she was in the ring for 20 minutes with The Draw.

Tessa is happy to have made history in their own way. Sami says he didn’t hold back, he brought it like he would any other opponent. Tessa says she left it all in the ring, and can be happy knowing that she gave it 110%; don’t let winning go to your head, and don’t let losing go to your heart. Callihan looks square at the camera and respectfully states: “From one wrestler to another .. let’s do it again.”
