Sami Callihan barges in to the women’s locker room. Alisha Edwards screams at him to get out, but he spouts equal rights. Tessa Blanchard walks in, and tells Alisha she’s got this. They’re in each other’s faces, as Tessa demands a match for next week. She suggests Callihan bring Jake, and we’ll see who’s better. Sami was hoping she’d say something like that, and accepts the challenge before walking out the door.

Before the fight, Gilberti takes the microphone to say that Tessa is one of the most talented women in wrestling but it’s like being the best Philadelphia Flyers player. Tonight he’s going to show Tessa who’s the dad here.

Tessa attacks Glenn directly with forearm shots in the face. Glenn tries to escape but she catches him by the pentalon and gives him a big blow of the forearm in the head putting K.O.

Discos asks Vox if she got fired from hooters? Which wrestler is Vox dating? Disco continues his sexist campaign. Disco attacks Vox before the bell rings. Was Vox on Match.com? Disco bounces Vox’s head on the top turnbuckle pad. Disco with a side headlock takeover. Disco is surprised that he hasn’t got the this is awesome chants. Disco wants to apologize to the boys in the back. While it’s not a five star match, it’s not his fault. Disco punches Vox in the throat. Disco with a Hip Toss.

Disco continues to run his mouth. Vox rolls Disco over for a two count. Disco calls the referee a moron. Vox with a drop toe hold. Vox follows that with two dropkicks. Vox goes for a Missile Dropkick, but Disco blocks it. Disco connects with The Chart Buster for a two count. Oh my god she kicked out of his finish. Disco gets Vox in position for another Chart Buster. Tessa Blanchard storms into the ring. Blanchard tells Disco to bring it. Disco heads to the backstage area.

Tessa Blanchard joins the commentary team for this match. Valkyrie is playing mind games with Rayne. Rayne chases Valkyrie around the ringside area. Valkyrie with a basement dropkick. Valkyrie poses for the crowd. Valkyrie with a forearm shot across the chest of Rayne. Valkyrie kicks the right knee of Rayne. Valkyrie has complete control of the match. Valkyrie toys around with Rayne. Valkyrie punches Rayne in the back. Rayne drop toe holds Valkyrie into the middle turnbuckle. Rayne with a Tilt-A-Whirl HeadScissors TakeOver. Rayne follows that with two forearm shivers. Rayne slides under Valkyrie.

Blanchard storms off.

Madison Rayne feels good to be back, and while her loss against Jordynne wasn’t what she wanted, she knows the competition is stacked so it doesn’t bother her. Tessa Blanchard pops in and tells Madison she’s like Gail, expecting opportunities to relive past glory days. Madison reminds Tessa she has beaten her twice before in Impact, and she’ll gladly make it three. She tells Madison to bring it on.

Blanchard pie faces Rayne. Rayne knocks down Blanchard and hits a sliding clothesline. Ropewalk ranna by Rayne. Blanchard keeps getting distracted by Kim at the announce desk. Blanchard catches Rayne with an elbow to the face. Blanchard lands a running elbow to Rayne’s back followed by a dropkick to the lower back. Rayne rolls Blanchard into a pin. Blanchard kicks out. Vertical suplex by Blanchard. Blanchard beats down Rayne while yelling at Kim that this is what Blanchard is going to do to her. After the break, Rayne lands a step up enziguri.

Rayne gets a near fall after the northern lights. Ripcord facebuster by Blanchard. Rayne kicks out. Rayne surprises Blanchard with a crucifix bomb. Blanchard kicks out. Double slingshot suplex by Blanchard. Rayne kicks out again. Blanchard gets another long two count after a superplex. Blanchard brings a chair into the ring. Kim takes the chair from Blanchard. Rayne rolls Blanchard up in a schoolgirl for the win!

We see a video package highlighting the career of Gail Kim. Melissa Santos interviews Tessa Blanchard after the video, asking what it feels like to face a legend at Rebellion in the process. Blanchard goes on to explain that Kim was a legend, but only in her era of bra and panties matches, not this current era that Blanchard is a part of.

Melissa Santos interviews Tessa Blanchard in the backstage area. Gail Kim is in the building. Blanchard not buying this narrative that Gail started the women’s revolution. Legends come and go, but diamonds are forever. Blanchard has no patience, so she’s heading towards the ring to get her apology now.

Here’s Tessa to gloat about Gail Kim’s forced apology and resignation. She talks about how it’s a night for justice so Gail needs to get out here right now. Here’s a sad Gail, with Tessa saying how bad it must be to have everything taken from you. Gail apologizes but Tessa wants to know what the apology is for. Even more defeated, Gail says she’s sorry for the attack that cost her the Knockouts Title.

Gail resigned earlier today so Tessa has an apology of her own. She’s sorry that Gail’s era is known for bra and panties matches while Tessa’s era is breaking barriers. Gail is ready to leave, but there’s one more thing: she’s out of retirement and coming for Tessa. The beatdown is on and a scared/angry Tessa bails.

We are back from commercial and we are in the backstage area, Tessa Blanchard says that she’s just getting started with Gail Kim. After talking to her lawyers, she wants Impact higher-ups to know that she’s calling the shots. She demands that Gail Kim come to the ring and apologize, and then relinquish her job as an Impact producer.
